Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of precast/prestressed concrete elements under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support preparation of design drawings and basic calculations for precast components.
- Work with architects, contractors, and other team members to help ensure design requirements are met.
- Learn to conduct structural analysis and apply relevant codes and standards with supervision.
- Provide technical support during different phases of the project lifecycle.
- Attend project meetings to observe and contribute ideas to design discussions.
- Develop an understanding of precast concrete design principles and construction practices.
- Participate in ongoing training and stay informed about standard codes and practices.
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Coursework or internship experience in concrete design considered an asset.
- Interest in learning structural analysis tools such as E‑Tabs.
- Willingness to pursue professional licensure with company support.
