Accounts Payable Clerk (Cavanagh Concrete)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software.

Job Responsibilities :

• Obtain approval, process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Enter data into VISTA accounting system
• Analyze accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with others to ensure accurate processing of employee-related expenses.
• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes.
• Balance VISA statements and enter into VISTA.
• Process fuel invoices / maintain fuel cards.
• Process vendor payments and reimbursements to employees.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status.

Wage Range :

The hourly range for this replacement position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $28.00 and $37.00. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
