Overview
The Borgen Project is an international organization that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine and poverty. The organization believes that leaders of the most powerful nations should address global poverty. The national campaign is working to make poverty a focus of foreign policy. With 20 years of experience in the advocacy space, The Borgen Project has helped support the passage of numerous bills benefitting close to 500 million people in developing countries.
Writer / Journalist Program — This role focuses on content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog.
This is a part-time program : 12 hours per week, for 12 weeks, unpaid and remote. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks.

No prior experience is necessary; we’re looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of your GPA / background.
Details
This is an unpaid program, although college credit is available.

New programs begin every month; you choose the month you wish to start.
