Are you passionate about doing meaningful work? Do you care about water as one of our most important resources? The Water Security Agency is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Owners Engineering team.
This position will provide professional engineering services and support to a broad range of activities directly related to the investigation, design, construction, and rehabilitation of water resource management and / or infrastructure management projects. This employee will be responsible for undertaking routine to moderately complex projects or assignments.
This position will also assist in assessing the operational adequacy and safety of water management infrastructure by conducting field inspections and investigations, performing / reviewing engineering calculations and analyses both in the field and the office, preparing applicable reports, project proposals, and reviewing technical documents and drawings. It will also manage projects of moderate size complexity; prepare project cost estimates and material quantity schedules; prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and drawings.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar engineering discipline, and a license to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS). Applicants with the required education will be assessed to determine their level based on relevant experience.
