Integration Engineer – Vancity

As an Integration Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain backend services that connect enterprise platforms, APIs, and third‑party services. You’ll collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, DevOps, and compliance teams to deliver secure, efficient solutions that meet enterprise security and compliance standards in the finance industry.

This full‑time, permanent role is based in Vancouver with hybrid work. You will be expected to be on‑site for events and business demands when needed.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend integration and data batching workflows using Apache Airflow and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Apply secure, scalable coding practices, including authentication, encryption, and cloud‑native development
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure system stability
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver reliable integration features and enhancements
• Grow technical skills through mentorship, code reviews, and pair programming in backend development and system integration
• Troubleshoot, debug, and test to ensure smooth delivery of backend services

Salary range : $85,000 to $105,000 per annum . Base pay may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Eligible for annual incentive program, subject to eligibility requirements.
