Retail Department Manager Front End and Receiving

Summary :

The Group Sales Manager is accountable for growing the business and people within one or more specialized merchandise departments inside a Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas retail location. The GSM will lead world class customer service and operational delivery by developing and engaging Outfitters daily in all facets of department operations including merchandise presentation inventory control pricing sales enhancements staff selection and development.

Responsibilities :

• Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Meet or exceed all financial plans.
• Execute all sales events plans.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and opens / closes the store.
• Maintain planograms.
• Maintain all standards of cleanliness and safe work.
• Staff the departments with service oriented Outfitters; participates in interviewing and selection coordinates training reviews and evaluates team member performance prepares weekly work schedules coaches and motivates Outfitters to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment.
• Resolves customer and Outfitter issues.
• Carries out management functions in accordance with the Companys policies and applicable laws.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
