Agilus is recruiting for several Auditors in the Public Accounting in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

These positions will be a hybrid. We have different positions available starting from Consultant, Manager and Senior Managers.

A typical day :

• Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers
• Stay informed of general business / economic developments and their impact to the client
• Provide value added consultative solutions to our clients on current business and financial conditions
• Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed
• Participate in performing Canadian GAAP, IFRS, and ASPE analysis procedures to assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
• Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback / training.

The successful candidate brings :

• A degree in accounting
• 3-5 years relevant audit experience
• CPA, CA designation or equivalency will be considered an asset but not mandatory
• or business experience in financial statement close or the application of accounting standards
