Robert Half is looking for an experienced Director of IT for our Client. As the successful Candidate you will be entrusted with providing effective strategic and operational leadership, digital transformation and related information and technology needs. You will be accountable for outlining new strategic roadmaps for the organization, researching and planning for implementation of the most recent technologies in the industry and maintaining security at the forefront of all initiatives. This role is located in Edmonton, AB., and is open to hybrid remote work concessions (work from office / work from home) for eligible Candidates.

Job Requirements : MUST HAVES :

• 6 + years or more in an IT Director role with proven success in the supervision of technical personnel and business-wide strategic planning and budgetary responsibilities
• Proficient working experience in high level business settings in the analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
• Excellent hands-on working experience in leading digital transformations
• Solid knowledge and in-depth Application / Software Development management experience
• Strong Vendor contract management experience
• Excellent leadership skills and aptitude to work in a hands-on environment to support and mentor growing team
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills in order to achieve effective Stakeholder relations
• Post-secondary degree in Computer Sciences, Business, Software Engineering or related field
