Description

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for managing the Project Management Center (PMF) operations planning to achieve and exceed the objectives set by the senior management.

Requirements

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years in project management or operations management, in the field of telecommunications and / or construction;
  • be able to work under pressure;
  • Ability to manage multiple files at the same time;
  • Remarkable communication skills;
  • Be oriented towards customer service and problem solving;
  • Have an excellent sense of organization and planning;
  • Autonomy, interpersonal skills, dynamism and versatility;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Advanced Excel
  • Master of Lean Management, Six Sigma or other relevant certification (asset)
  • Excellent communication skills of both oral and written French and English.

Summary

Main tasks and functions

  • Plan the operational portion of the workload expected by the client;
  • Follow the evolution of the projects;
  • Provide the interface between the operations and the Project Management Center to define the commitments in working hours on a monthly and weekly basis according to the operational execution capacity;
  • Identify the resources required to deliver the projects;
  • Coordinate deliverables of the week with superintendents / site supervisors; according to the resources allocated
  • Ensure with contributors that the planned projects are ready and free of obstacles for execution;
  • Coordinate the workloads of various suppliers and site labor to meet productivity objectives;
  • Analyze deviations from productivity objectives and, with the Director and Superintendent, implement the necessary corrective action;
  • Validate customer satisfaction, take care of complaints concerning the work performed and follow up on them;
  • Act as a leader in the production unit by monitoring the continuous improvement process in order to optimize the performance of its projects;
