Job Title : CMM Technician

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for programming CMMs for inspection of products, gauges, and tools. They will perform dimensional layouts using CMM and other measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CMM programs
  • Bring QA activities relating to the lab to ensure customer and company targets are met
  • Prepare layout reports
  • Assist with gauge control process
  • Perform layout on products, tooling, gauges, fixtures, and other equipment as requested
  • Train personnel on CMM and other lab equipment

Essential Skills

  • Programming knowledge
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Experience with Calypso
  • 2+ years of experience as a CMM technician / programmer
  • Experience in quality assurance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience working with Calypso 2000
  • Experience with Zeiss machines

Work Environment

The company engages in the manufacture of automotive heat management systems and modules, including heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems, powertrain cooling systems, compressors, and fluid transport systems.

The work shift is from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday. The facility is well-equipped with high-end equipment, robots, and machines.

You will be part of a quality department team of 15-20 members and report directly to the Quality Supervisor. Basic eye protection and PPE boots are required.
