Here's how

As a Project Manager II on the Security Technology and Migrations team, your primary responsibility will be to support the execution of successful migration programs for our acquired customers and effectively transition them into the TELUS ecosystem.

You will ensure that together we deliver on our business objectives while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Structure and manage programs, including planning and coordinating individual projects and project teams, to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality commitments while minimizing and mitigating potential obstacles and risks
  • Synthesize analytics and findings / insights, and ensure it is clearly communicated to stakeholders in business context in order to be able to solve customer / business issues and objectives
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to raise our collective sensitivity to market dynamics, and quickly mobilize channels to fill excess capacity and optimize balance of supply and demand at a regional and national level
  • Analyze and solve business problems by developing insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions to complex and / or broad challenges / opportunities
  • Fostering and supporting a high-energy, results-oriented, inclusive work environment that encourages a culture that inspires everyone to give their best to our customers, to our community, to TELUS and ultimately to our shareholders

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • 3+ years’ experience managing and delivering complex programs involving business process engineering, systems development and implementation, and / or change management in a service delivery environment
  • Exceptional analytical skills with abilities to conduct thorough root cause and fit-gap analysis
  • You have a proven success record in delivering bottom line business, people, and customer benefits through your thought leadership and project management experience
  • Showcase your systematic approach to solving complex problems
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high performance culture
  • Excellent storytelling and written communication skills
  • Growth mindset and passion for developing your skill sets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint (or Google equivalents)
  • Degree in business or technology engineering, computer science

Great-to-haves

  • Experience with visualization tools ( Tableau, DOMO) and / or in data querying ( SQL, Python) is an asset
  • Certifications in performance improvement and / or project management methodologies and practices Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience in managing cross functional performance improvement projects of large scale and / or complexity
