Reporting to the ATP Supervisor the Saw Operator - ATP will set-up and operate saws and cutting equipment in accordance with work order requirements.

Key position functions include :

• Set-up and operate saws and cutting equipment in accordance with work order requirements
• Receive material and process paperwork
• Ensure processes and machine operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner
• Transfer heat numbers on cut pieces and ends of cut bars
• Responsible to ensure product quality meets drawing specification
• Identify non-conformances by separation and / or marking
• Maintain machines work station and equipment to an acceptable standard
• Follow work and order and process traveler requirements and fill out job sheets or record time using ERP system
• Report all machine crane and hoist problems in the proper maintenance logs and notify Maintenance and / or Lead Hand of a down-time situation
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
