Data Security Analyst
Akkodis is seeking a Power BI Developer for a contract position with a client in Toronto Downtown ON (Hybrid) . Ideally looking for strong experience with Utilize DAX queries and advanced Power BI functionalities to transform raw data.
Experience in Design and implement data connections to integrate with existing security and network tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight, Demisto, Anomali, Qualys, Cisco security solutions, and Palo Alto Networks products.
would be an added asset preferred would be someone with Canadian Banking / Insurance experience.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards to provide real-time insights into security incidents, trends, vulnerabilities, and network traffic patterns.
- Design and implement data connections to integrate with existing security and network tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight, Demisto, Anomali, Qualys, Cisco security solutions, and Palo Alto Networks products.
- Utilize DAX queries and advanced Power BI functionalities to transform raw data into meaningful, actionable visualizations for security and network operations teams.
- Create interactive dashboards that monitor device health, network performance, and threat intelligence, ensuring they are user-friendly and visually compelling.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, ensuring fast loading times and responsive interactions, even with large datasets.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to understand reporting needs, translating them into technical specifications for effective dashboard design.
- Act as a technical consultant by participating in meetings and workshops, gathering feedback to continuously improve dashboard utility and relevance.
- Provide training and support to users on the effective utilization of Power BI dashboards, enabling them to make data-driven decisions.
- Continuously monitor and update dashboards to reflect changes in security environments, ensuring the data presented is accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards when handling sensitive security and network data within Power BI dashboards.
