Work term : Fall (September - December)

Work term length : 8-months

What you’ll be doing

  • With your meticulous attention to detail, team player attitude and sense of urgency you will play an integral role in providing support to the Talent Acquisition team for full cycle recruitment for all business units across Definity.
  • Creating requisitions in the applicant tracking system and refreshing them as needed
  • Posting job descriptions to various external sites such as Linked In, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc
  • Requesting background checks
  • Scheduling, supporting, conducting with phone screens and video screens
  • Supporting co-op hiring as needed and assisting with co-op onboarding and engagement initiatives
  • Supporting recruitment marketing by developing content and updating social media pages to generate more traction
  • Coordinate high volume recruiting events and initiatives
  • Coordination of and attendance at career and networking events
  • Dashboard reporting of key recruitment metrics

What you bring -

  • Currently enrolled in a University or College Program; preferred field of study is Human Resources, Business, or Marketing
  • 0-2 years of experience in an Administrative support role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively in team environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

About Us

The hourly compensation for the role starts at $22 / h and will increase based on factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, and the recommended rates as set by the respective educational institution.
