What is the Opportunity?

What will you do?
- Support team's Investment Management Operations and Wealth Management Strategy. Provide Wealth Management recommendations and solutions when appropriate
- Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects : help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, execute post-meeting work.
- Attend client meetings when required and execute post meeting follow-up
- Trading and portfolio rebalancing support.
- Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
- Support the administrative functions of the advisory team.
- Support your advisory team with new client acquisition.
- Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable to follow-up, as required.
- Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans.
- Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.
- Co-manage client acquisition pipeline (prospects / leads); work with advisory team to close new opportunities.
- Deepen existing relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) through ongoing management.
- Maintain audit of Wealth Management activities and priorities
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Completion of the CSC and CPH
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
- Strong skills working with business applications / technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
Nice-to-have
- Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC
- 4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Highly developed client service skills
