Overview
We’re currently hiring a Production Supervisor for our Edmonton Plant 1 Location. In this role, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and grow with a team that supports you. You will play a critical role in leading a safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing operation while building a culture where people feel supported and proud of the work they do.
Responsibilities
- Championing a Safety-First Culture : Lead by example and reinforce safe behaviours on the floor, address unsafe actions immediately and consistently, encourage hazard and near-miss reporting, lead incident investigations in partnership with Health & Safety, ensure compliance with safety policies and OHS regulations, involve team members in identifying hazards and implementing controls.
- Drive “First Time Right” Quality : Set clear quality expectations and hold the team accountable, ensure employees are trained on standard work and best practices, monitor processes, perform audits, address quality issues quickly, identify waste and improvement opportunities to reduce rework and cost, track and report quality metrics and production performance.
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team : Coach, motivate, and support Team Leaders and production employees, assign work, manage workflow, ensure daily targets are met, provide regular feedback and address performance issues promptly, remove roadblocks and support continuous improvement discussions.
- Foster a One Team – Winning Together Environment : Promote collaboration across shifts and production lines, partner with support teams including Health & Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, IT, and HR, seek input from employees at all levels to build practical, well-rounded solutions.
What we’re looking for
3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong safety mindset with the confidence to lead from the floorExperience managing daily production, priorities, and performanceAbility to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectivelyContinuous-improvement mindset with solid problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office / 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)High school diploma or GED requiredPost-secondary education, Lean manufacturing knowledge, or fenestration experience are assetsCore Behaviours & Competencies
