Mechanical Reliability Engineer

Your role:Reporting to the Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance, availability, and durability of industrial equipment. Your role will directly contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the reduction of unplanned downtime.Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programsConduct failure analyses and propose sustainable solutionsOptimize existing maintenance plans based on best practicesDefine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)Collaborate with internal teams to resolve recurring technical issuesTrain maintenance teams on reliability best practicesParticipate in continuous improvement and plant safety initiativesDesired profile:College or university diploma in mechanical engineeringMinimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance roleStrong knowledge of CMMS softwareAnalytical mindset, rigor, and autonomyMembership in the Order of Engineers is an assetConditions:Permanent, full-time, 100% on-site positionSalary based on experience: up to $130,000Employer-matched RRSP contribution up to 6%100% employer-paid group insurance3 weeks of vacation upon hire + 14 statutory holidaysFlexible schedule, paid overtime, employer-funded ongoing trainingStimulating environment with upcoming automation projects
