Job descriptionOccasionally lift to 80 lbs., use tools, forklift license is an asset but not required. Stay updated on flooring trends and installation methods. Meet weekly and monthly production goals. 2-5 years of experience in production coordination, logistics, or project management. Experience with inventory management, scheduling, and supplier coordination . Ability to coordinate production schedules and ensure deadlines are met. Handle vendor communication and material procurement. Manage inventory and production records efficiently. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and project management software. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of supply chain processes and production workflows. Job Summary :
The Production Coordinator ensures smooth project execution, delivering installations that meet customer expectations. This role requires strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills with a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Order and track materials for timely delivery.
- Coordinate installation schedules with customers and installers.
- Conduct daily job site visits and provide customer updates.
- Ensure job quality, resolve issues, and collect final payments.
- Oversee the Production Assistant’s daily tasks.
- Maintain warehouse organization and assist with small repairs.
- Support invoicing and home show events.
- Estimate flooring needs and provide accurate project quotes.
