The Oilsands Team Lead is responsible for the logistics chain in the Oilsands Operations. The Team Lead oversees the day-to-day coordination of General Labourers and Laboratory Technicians. This position is given direction from the Oilsands Operations Manager and is an entry-level supervisory position.

Please not this is a seasonal role with an anticipated end date of July 30th 2025.

What you will be doing :

• Supervise and organize team to meet department objectives
• Ensure that all samples are entered in the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) in an accurate and expedient manner
• Ensure all sample integrity issues are properly documented and reported
• Keep lab managers and operational staff informed on rush and time sensitive samples that arrive at the lab as well as incoming expected samples
• Ensure proper and accurate completion of all outgoing bottle orders
• Ensure availability of sample supply stock
• Ensure sample pick-ups and supply delivery meets client expectations Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to management
• Ensure compliance with required safety protocols and adherence to PPE policy
• Other duties as assigned
