Robert Half is currently recruiting for an accounting clerk position with one of it's long established clients in Edmonton. This remote work opportunity comes with a fantastic benefits package and incredible career advancement options.

Responsibilities:

• Gathers information regarding assets in accounts (including research into the tax cost) and ensures that the cost and market values of investments reconcile to the custodian, the investment manager and then imputes the results into the financial statement.

• Gathers information regarding income summaries and investment summaries and investigates any unusual source of income then inputs the results into the financial statements.

• Prepares routine payment memo’s, issues memo and follows up on payment.

• Monitors daily account balances and provides any offside report to the Director of Accounting.

• Provides backup to the Trust Accounting Associate and Director of Accounting.

• Transfer of funds and reporting of trust accounts.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Accounting experience an asset
• BA in Accounting or similar degree preferred
• Trust or Investment accounting experience valuable
• ERP system experience
• High volume reconciliation experience
