Responsibilities

  • New Business Development
  • Embody our vision and actively seek partnerships with world-class organizations.
  • Engage in daily prospecting and conduct high-level consultation meetings with C-Suite executives and business owners in our target markets.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to present Richardson’s services, highlighting the value proposition and differentiating factors.
  • Collaborate closely with Richardson’s Vice Presidents to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Strongly committed to achieve or exceed defined targets.
  • Account Management
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their trusted partner.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for cross-selling, and renewals.
  • Develop strategic account plans to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and client-specific challenges to provide proactive solutions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a balanced focus on both the Edmonton and Calgary markets, providing business development support to team members in both locations.
  • Represent Richardson at trade shows, golf tournaments, industry events, and similar engagements to promote the firm's brand and services.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in a high-level sales role, particularly in business-to-business (B2B) service sales, and in the professional services industry.
  • Extensive experience partnering with C-Suite executives and key decision-makers.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding business development targets and KPIs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with C-suite professionals and business owners.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accounts, including contract negotiation, cross-selling, and renewals.
  • Intrinsically driven to exceed sales goals and possess an innate entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Champion a commitment to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of relationship-building, recognizing the value of a diverse network.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required for this position.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
