SharePoint Development :
Proficient in SharePoint Online custom solutions, including SPFx for client-side development.
Extensive knowledge of SharePoint 2013 migration and integration.
Utilizes Patterns and Practices (PnP) for best practices and reusable components.
Extending SP functionality using low code solutions :
Creates Power Apps and workflows using Power Automate seamlessly integrated with SharePoint.
Implements Power Platform components for enhanced SharePoint solutions, e.g. custom list forms
DevOps and Cloud :
Applies DevOps methodologies for optimized lifecycles.
Proficient in Azure Functions and other Azure services for cloud-based functionality extension.
Version control proficiency using Git.
Information Architecture :
Designs effective data structures, taxonomies, and metadata in SharePoint Online.
Configures and customizes Microsoft Search for optimized content discovery.
Expertise in SharePoint Information Architecture, optimizing site structures and metadata.
SharePoint Online (SPO) Expertise :
Advanced understanding of SharePoint Online, including administration and configuration.
Implements SPO security best practices and governance frameworks.
Solutioning, Designing, and Architecting :
Leads end-to-end solution design for SharePoint and Power Platform projects.
Applies architectural principles for scalable and efficient solutions.
Designs collaborative solutions, emphasizing document management, version control, and integration with Microsoft Teams.
Problem-Solving :
Analyzes complex technical issues with creativity and a proactive mindset.
Continuous Improvement :
Stays current with SharePoint trends, including SPFx, PnP, Copilot, SharePoint Premium(Syntex) and Microsoft Viva Connection.
Drives initiatives for continuous improvement in technical solutions.
Collaboration and Leadership :
Collaborates effectively with stakeholders, communicating technical concepts clearly.
Provides leadership in guiding technical teams and mentoring junior developers.
Requirements
Experience (Years) : 8-10 Essential Skills : Hands-on working experience architecting Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions, including customization and integration.
Guidewire certification is a plus.Other technologies of interest : Guidewire Cloud, Salesforce CRM, legacy modernization, and AWS.
Proven knowledge & architecture experience in, architecture (digital / digital marketing / micro / macro / monolithic services, APIs), application integration, service-oriented architecture, event-driven architecture, application architecture, distributed architecture, data architecture and modelling.
Proven experience with modelling languages & techniques. Can quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
Can understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations. Strong technical background (platforms, languages, protocols, frameworks, open source, etc.
Experience with architecture frameworks (TOGAF) & architecture certifications a plus.Experience in engaging and supporting claims teams and understanding their day-to-day operations in the P&C insurance space.
