Highlights of the Job

EPCORWater Servicesis hiring one temporary Engineer, Development and Infill (up to 18 months). This role provides technical expertise and engineering leadership supporting water distribution, stormwater management, and wastewater collection infrastructure in Edmonton.

As a key member of the team, you will help ensure EPCOR’s design standards, development reviews, and infrastructure planning align with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and corporate objectives.

You will contribute to land development applicationreviews, support construction activities, and provide engineering insight that helps maintain the safe, reliable operation of our systems.

What You’d Be Responsible For

• Supporting EPCOR’s Development and Infill plans and strategies.
• Contributing to process improvements that enhance service levels and ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Reviewing timelines, design quality, and permit submissions for : Land development applicationsGreenfield subdivision designsWater and sewer servicing plansDevelopment applications
• Providing input into the update of design standards and engineering guidelines.
• Supporting project teams with technical guidance during planning, design, and construction phases.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Providing real-time construction support to managers, engineers, contractors, and field inspectors.
• Identifying and harmonizing best practices across EPCOR’s operating areas.
