E-Discovery Case Manager

Reporting to the Sr. Manager Technology the eDiscovery Case Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end electronic discovery process for legal matters investigations and compliance initiatives. This individual will act as a critical liaison between legal teams IT professionals and external vendors ensuring that Electronically Stored Information (ESI) is identified collected processed reviewed and produced in a defensible efficient and cost-effective manner. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical expertise strong project management skills and the ability to provide strategic advice to legal teams on eDiscovery best practices.

This role requires a proactive detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable working under tight deadlines. The eDiscovery Case Manager will work closely with other members of the Osler Works - Disputes (OWD) team including the Head of OWD Review Managers Lawyers Litigation Support Specialists and other Case Managers to deliver exceptional results.

Major Responsibilities

eDiscovery Project Management

• Coordinate the entire eDiscovery lifecycle including identification preservation collection processing review analysis and production of ESI
• Act as a bridge between legal teams IT and external vendors ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the eDiscovery process
• Develop and manage project timelines budgets and workflows to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and within scope
• Work closely with Review Managers to ensure document review deadlines and targets are met
• Monitor and enforce adherence to eDiscovery best practices defensible methodologies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
• Provide regular updates and reports to legal teams and clients regarding project status risks and key milestones

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

Community College diploma in Information Technology or equivalent with at least three years of experience working as an eDiscovery Analyst Case Manager or in a similar role. An equivalent combination of education training and experience will also be considered.
