OCT in Good Standing (If you have applied for your OCT, are on a temporary OCT certificate, or are graduating in the near future, you are welcome to apply now.

Qualifications in Primary, Junior, Intermediate, Special Education, FSL / French, etc. Application : Applicants can also apply to any Elementary Teaching position that is of interest to them (i.

References : UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors. If your experience is in a day-to-day occasional capacity ensure that you list the length of time that you worked for that Supervisor and whether the assignment was casual day-to-day or in a long-term occasional capacity.

Placement Teacher References : If providing a Placement Teacher as a reference, The UCDSB will require confirmation and approval from the Principal at the Placement School that the deferred reference (Placement Teacher) is approved to provide reference on behalf of the Principal.

The UCDSB does not accept colleague or personal references. Selection Process : Applicants will be selected for an interview based on school preferences, specific qualifications, and / or availability.

These applicants will then be invited to attend a virtual live interview via Microsoft Teams. Interviews typically include a panel of two (2) Hiring Managers.

The UCDSB selection process includes a review of required qualifications, an interview and assessment process, and reference checks.
