Our customer, a major oil and gas producer, is looking for a Field Operator to join their team in the Athabasca, Alberta area. Camp will be provided for the right candidates. This position is on a 7 / 7 rotation, 12 hour shifts. A crew shuttle is available from Edmonton and Athabasca area to site.
Additional requirements include :
- 2+ years experience with heavy oil and / or field operations; willing to train the right candidate
- Post Secondary Education, focused in Petroleum Industry, considered an asset
- Knowledge of SCADA , PCP pumps, polymer flood process an asset
- Required to have valid oilfield safety tickets (H2S Alive, Standard First Aid)
- Clean drivers abstract; must be comfortable driving a truck off-highway
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
- Strong aptitude for detail, disciplined work ethic and the ability to take initiative as well as accept direction
- Capable of working in both a team and individual environment
