Motorola Solution’s Video Division is defining the future of the security industry through innovative end-to-end solutions. We’re changing the landscape of the surveillance industry through advanced award-winning AI based surveillance systems. Artificial Intelligence is transforming the world and our team is advancing the field as it applies to the surveillance industry. We are proud to be industry leaders in video analytics with products like Appearance Search and Unusual Motion Detection along with our recently launched Avigilon Blue cloud service platform. You will have the opportunity to contribute to intelligent camera surveillance systems through cutting edge research and software engineering.
Job Description
This position is based in Vancouver, BC and the candidate must reside in the Greater Vancouver Area as you will be required to go into the office on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities include :
- Ensure that Motorola produces the highest quality, easiest to use products in the surveillance industry.
- Continually improve the quality of Motorola's video software and hardware products through the creation, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Recruit, manage, train and evaluate the performance of the Appliance Test Team personnel.
- Mentor Appliance Test Team personnel to grow their career and develop new skills.
- Drive productivity and efficiency via automation and metrics.
- Responsible for the timely investigation, triage, and replication of reported issues.
- Interact regularly with support, development, and product management teams to solve challenging problems.
- Work with external companies to deliver additional capabilities and capacity to the Appliance Test Team.
- Develop processes and metrics to ensure Appliance Test Team is operating efficiently and productively.
Qualifications :
Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience :
Target Base Salary Range : $73,500 - $150,700 CAD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
