Job descriptionThis is a unionized position; 40-hour / week schedule, from Sunday to Saturday; Day, evening, and night shifts, rotating every 2 weeks; Night premium at $20.50 / hour; Weekend premium at $103.73 / hour. Plan and coordinate the loading and unloading operations of containers from trains, ships, and trucks at our two terminals; Maintain and / or increase productivity goals by efficiently using our human and material resources as well as our warehousing environment; Apply the company's safety regulations and work practices so that our employees work in a safe environment; Propose qualitative and productivity improvement areas; Make recommendations to improve customer service. University and / or college degree in operations management, transportation logistics, or any other relevant field; Minimum of 5 years of operational experience preferably in logistics, transportation, or shipping; Experience in managing unionized personnel; Ability to work under pressure and make decisions with a high degree of responsibility; Excellent communication skills; Positive attitude, highly developed leadership; Ability to work outdoors and on different shifts (on rotation) to supervise work; Must be able to climb aboard a ship to inspect work and communicate with the crew; Proficiency in standard computer tools; Good knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI); Oral and written bilingualism (French and English) adapted to the function.
