About the Company
Our client is a testing laboratory. They are looking for a P&A Manager, Revenue : ON Government Markets who will be responsible for providing strategic business partnership support to specific business lines within the business, as delegated by the Director FP&A Revenue. This will include specific Government Contracts (ON, BC, SK & Non-Capped programs) and may include component segments within Business and Consumer Markets. This position will supervise Senior Financial Analyst.

About the Opportunity
Strategic Partnership
Provide strategic business partnership support to delegated business segments. Analytics & Financial Modeling :
Utilize analytics and financial modeling to influence and advise the business, providing data and intelligence to identify opportunities for maximizing top-line growth and bottom-line margins for existing and new funding / revenue sources. Government Relations & National Accounts :
Support the companies’ government relations or national account strategy and provide recommendations to drive improved business performance and optimal pricing for RFP customers contracting processes. Performance Monitoring :
Complete monthly business unit performance reviews to monitor performance, including oversight of the month-end framework, variance analysis, and performance monitoring. Budgeting & Forecasting :
Oversee the annual budget and forecast process updates, strategic planning, and any financial modeling / business cases required to support current and future opportunities for the delegated business segments. Team Supervision :
Supervise Financial Analysts as required, providing mentorship and support to ensure team goals and objectives are met. Monthly Business Unit Performance Reviews :
Collaborate with specific Government Contracts, and component segments within Business and Consumer Markets as delegated by the Director FP&A Revenue. Establish a partnership and framework to analyze and communicate results monthly. This framework includes traditional variance analysis, performance monitoring, visual dashboards to measure in-process metrics, and tracking progress and course corrections for segment-specific initiatives Annual Budget, Forecast Updates, and 5-Year Plan Development :
Lead the processes for the delegated segments (Government Contracts) to develop the annual budget, forecast updates (at least eight times per year), and strategic planning for the company. Assist in the development and evaluation of key business drivers and assumptions into the forecast model. Align plans across all stakeholder groups and integrate revenue forecast updates within the operations costs forecast. Analytics and Business Partnerships :
Develop analytical frameworks and tools to assist the delegated segments in making data-driven decisions. This includes pricing activities, new business ventures, new product lines, margin analysis, low volume / margin test rationalization, product divestitures, capital investments, RFP activities for customers, contract negotiations, and other strategic initiatives. Leverage tools to enable business case development and documentation, including capital requirements and investment returns / payback. Ad Hoc Projects :
Perform ad hoc projects in support of the Commercial senior leaders, Head of Commercial Finance and Director FP&A Revenue. About You
CPA Designation or MBA
5+ year’s experience in FP&A, including strong business partnering, P&L analysis (revenue specific) and business casing
Salary Range
110,000 - $120,000 / year
