Are you ready to join a dynamic and growing organization in the heart of the Fraser Valley? Our client, a well-established manufacturer is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support their thriving operations.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and selections.
  • Partner with hiring managers to craft tailored job descriptions and meet staffing needs.
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings and facilitate onboarding processes, including orientation.
  • Assist with accurate and timely bi-weekly / monthly payroll processing as a Payroll backup.
  • Handle calculations for wages, deductions, and benefits contributions.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, and payroll.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture and address concerns as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit key reports, including payroll summaries and audits.
  • Support the coordination of training sessions and employee development programs.
  • Contribute to performance management initiatives, including evaluations and goal-setting.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.
  • Liaise with providers to resolve issues and maintain accurate processing.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and payroll (manufacturing experience is a bonus).
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and payroll procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information.
