Mobilia Interiors Inc., a leader in contemporary home furnishings, is looking fora Visual Merchandiser, to join our team.
The chosen person will assist in presenting Mobilias products in stores in a way that inspires our customers and by maintaining high visual standards to optimize sales, while following the planogram guidelines.
The person will work under the responsibility of the Director of Buying, Planning & Merchandising. He / she will work closely with the buying and marketing team in order to better understand the brand, products and campaigns to be presented in stores. The Visual Merchandiserwill tour stores in Ontario on a regular basis to maintain high visual standards in order to optimize sales.
Working at Mobilia is to be part of an exciting team open to new ideas, in a welcomingenvironment. It involves working closely with senior management and being part of an energetic and growing company (over 50 years in business), open to ongoing training for its employees.
Salary : 50,000$ / year
Roles and responsibilities :
- Adapt planograms while in-store to create an optimal shopping experience and increase profitability
- Move merchandise (furniture and accessories) with the assistance of the Visual Technician to reach objectives
- Study product performance by storeto quickly adjust positioning when needed.
- Understand Mobilias 4 worlds of style and the targeted customer to make the right styling decisions.
- Create inspiring room settings for existing line up by styling them according to the visual guideline standards
- Optimize store space and layout; keep displays on-point and current by performing regular maintenance.
- Understand the opportunities and constraints of each store to create the best experience for customers.
- Educate associates on effective merchandising and display techniques.
- Implement product stories using merchandising strategies created by the Visual Coordinator
- Install out of stores displays (co-branding opportunities, design shows etc.).
