Role Description

This is a contract role for a Medical Office Assistant Instructor located in Coquitlam, BC. As an MOA instructor, you will be responsible for delivering lessons in Medical Terminology and / or Medical Office Procedures, Billing, & Clinical Practice to students in a classroom setting. Your tasks will include teaching medical office assistant skills, conducting assessments, providing feedback to students, and ensuring a positive learning environment. This is an on-site role, and you will be based at our Coquitlam location.

Qualifications

  • Teaching or training experience is required
  • Experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a related healthcare role is required
  • Experience with Medical Billing and EMR
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including the use of MS Teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Patient and empathetic approach
