Job Title : Shipping & Logistics Associate

Location : SERIALNINE Headquarters (In-Person)

Hours : Part-Time, 4 Days a Week

Pay : $20 / hour

Start Date : January 2025

SERIALNINE is a leading automotive brand specializing in high-quality parts for car enthusiasts. We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Assistant to join our growing team. This role ensures our products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition while maintaining organization and efficiency within the workspace.

Key Responsibilities :

Shipping Operations :

Add incoming orders to the shipping sheet for fulfillment by the shipper.
Create shipping labels using supplied weights and dimensions.
Ensure customers receive tracking information promptly.
Use the "Shipping List" to verify order specifics, including order numbers, quantities, and part numbers.
Quality-check products before shipping and confirm correct quantities and part numbers.
Ensure packages are securely packed to prevent damage during transit, using materials like expanding foam or cushioning.
Choose appropriately sized boxes for cost and packing efficiency.
Properly label packages for efficient barcode scanning.

Stock Management :

Check available stock quantities to ensure order fulfillment relay to assembler.

Verify all peripherals (stickers, instructions, hardware, etc.) are included in packaging.

Receiving & Janitorial Duties :

Receive shipments and ensure proper documentation.

Take out garbage and cardboard.

Sweep floors and maintain cleanliness in the shipping area.

Qualifications :

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Basic computer skills / Proficiency in Google Sheets

Ability to lift packages and perform physical tasks as required.

Commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing is an asset but not required.
