As our innovative business grows rapidly, we are seeking a full-time P roduction Worker for the Grinding Department . Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Worker may be responsible for preparing, assembling, or packing our products at our Richmond location. If you can work in a cooler, fast-paced environment and work under pressure with minimal supervision, we would love to hear from you!

Position : Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am-5pm

Salary : $18 / h

Duties & Responsibilities :

Constantly maintain a clean and safe worksite before, during, and after production activities

Feed and unload processing machines

Safely load, unload, and transfer products to and from equipment or conveyors

Product quality checks : specification, packaging, produce, seal integrity

Dispose of garbage including boxes and bags

Report any quality defects during production

Follow and complete the production schedule

Commitment to Food Safety by adhering to HACCP and CFIA hygiene rules / sanitary work practices

Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Comfortable working in refrigeration

Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures

Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner

Effective verbal and listening communications skills

Commitment to quality and safety

Ability to lift to 55lbs

Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
