We currently have an opportunity for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team, working from our head office in Steinbach, MB. Working closely with marketing, internal teams, and external partners, you will contribute to content initiatives, coordinating and executing content aligning with brand, and business goals across various digital platforms.

Responsibilities of a Content Marketing Specialist include but are not limited to:

• Execute content aligned with Barkman strategy ensuring consistency and accuracy
• Partner with various internal, and external teams to coordinate content production, including IT for content related updates
• Manage content calendars, publishing schedules, and updates
• Write, design, edit, adapt, and publish content across various channels
• Assist with performance tracking, content analytics, and reporting to improve performance

The ideal candidate:

• 2–5 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related role
• Post-secondary degree or certificate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills across multiple content formats
• Experience managing content across digital channels (web, email, social)
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms
• Experience working with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Adaptability with workload while working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on results
• Experience with graphic design is an asset
• Experience supporting campaigns, product launches, or PR initiatives is an asset
• Knowledge of SEO, content optimization, or digital performance metrics is an asset
