ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a heavy equipment road mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of construction and aerial equipment on-site. This role ensures the fleet remains in peak condition and rental-ready while providing expert technical support and customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- equipment maintenance & repair
- service and troubleshoot mobile generators (120v to 800v) and conduct load bank tests
- perform routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, light replacements, and general servicing
- ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards before deployment
- customer & technical support
- provide expert knowledge to customers on equipment operation, safety, and accessory recommendations
- ensure a consistent and fair customer experience, resolving issues effectively
