Job Summary :

Principal Responsibilities :

  • Direct the MPG strategy to drive safety, productivity, profitable growth, and customer service excellence, through management of Country General Managers.
  • Responsible for all country activities, ensuring adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality standards while optimizing utilization and operating costs.
  • Responsible for commercial achievement and identifying / implementing strategic growth opportunities.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cash flow, and take corrective actions as needed.

Leadership & Operations :

  • Set the HSEQ example for the countries
  • Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Lead the Country GMs in setting organizational goals, making major decisions, managing CAPE, building business cases and allocating resources effectively.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, and ethical business practices.
  • Ensure robust business continuity plans are in place to mitigate disruptions and other operational risks.
  • Identify opportunities for EMBRACE synergies and implement best practices across regions to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Represent the company to stakeholders, including shareholders, board members, customers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Focus teams on “The Triangle” execution. Pricing, productivity and Growth
  • Qualifications :

  • BS / BA in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or relevant business field; Advanced degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field is typically preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in executive leadership roles, preferably in the industrial gas or related industries.
  • Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations, finance, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and improve processes / programs.
  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Extensive travel is required. Estimate approximately 50% travel.
