Overview
Join our team!! Locher Evers International (“LEI”), an EFL Group Company, industry leading and highly regarded freight forwarder, is growing rapidly!
We are looking for an accomplished and strategic Business Development Executive based in Calgary or Edmonton (Alberta). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in logistics sales, particularly in airfreight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, and warehousing. This role requires a visionary leader with strong sales acumen and the ability to drive significant growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, understand their logistics needs and providing customized solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market research and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including operations and customer service, to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
