Job description

Department Operations Location Montreal

At Stingray, creativity, collaboration, and innovative technology are at the core of our DNA. Are you ready to rock your career by joining a fast-growing company and a team of music enthusiasts in a stimulating and fun work environment?

Stingray (TSX: RAY.A; RAY.B), a global music, media, and technology company, is an industry leader in TV broadcasting, streaming, radio, business services, and advertising. Stingray provides commercial music, digital signage solutions, and in-store media to businesses worldwide. We are a team of passionate individuals dedicated to delivering exceptional visual and auditory experiences for our enterprise clients.

Reporting to Operations Leadership, the Project Coordinator (PC) is an entry-level position designed for an organized, proactive individual who is eager to learn and grow within project management.

Working side-by-side with experienced Project Managers, the PC manages the day-to-day execution, logistics, task tracking, and document control for active client rollouts. This role offers hands-on mentorship, exposure to enterprise technology deployments, and a structured career progression path toward becoming a Project Manager.

Your day-to-day

  • Task & Schedule Tracking: Maintain master project trackers (Smartsheet/Jira), monitor daily installation status, and follow up on open action items.
  • Logistics & Equipment Coordination: Track hardware orders, manage shipment schedules, and coordinate delivery timelines with site contacts and field installers.
  • Meeting & Administrative Support: Schedule internal/external project meetings, record concise meeting minutes, and distribute action items to team members.
  • Document Control: Organize project folders, compile site survey checklists, and collect technical sign-off forms post-installation.
  • Operational Troubleshooting: Assist PMs in resolving daily project bottlenecks and processing hardware returns or equipment exchanges.
  • Cross-Team Assistance: Collaborate with Account Coordinators (ACs) on invoicing triggers and database updates upon project completion.

Your qualifications

  • Attitude & Motivation: Entry-level candidate who is highly enthusiastic, curious, and driven by an eager-to-learn mindset to build a career in project management.
  • Education & Experience: 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or customer service. A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook) and willingness to learn tools like Smartsheet, Jira, and Salesforce.
  • AV Experience: Prior AV or digital signage experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Key Requirement: A strong interest and eagerness to learn AV technology, media players, and digital signage workflows is essential.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written); French proficiency is a strong asset (bilingual preferred).
