We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI / Alteryx Consultant to join our team. This role involves a blend of technical expertise in data visualization, business intelligence tool administration, and analytics data governance. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing Power BI dashboards, managing the Alteryx environment, and implementing data governance frameworks to support our data-driven decision-making capabilities. Key Responsibilities :
- Power BI Development : Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Power BI reports and dashboards. Analyze and reverse engineer existing dashboards to ensure optimal functionality and integration with other BI tools such as Tableau.
- Alteryx Administration : Administer and optimize the Alteryx Server for performance and reliability. Manage user access and security protocols in compliance with organizational standards.
- Analytics Data Governance : Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all analytics platforms. Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
- Collaboration and Support : Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to translate business needs into robust analytics solutions. Support the deployment of BI tools from development through to production, ensuring seamless integration and operational stability.
- Technical Leadership : Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, promoting best practices in data handling and analytics. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and visualization. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications :
- Extensive experience with Power BI, including advanced development, scripting, and data modeling capabilities.
- Proven expertise in administering Alteryx Server within a complex, enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding and experience in data governance frameworks and practices, particularly in the context of analytics and automation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex information and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in SQL, DAX, Python, and familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehousing principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and facilitating technical and non-technical discussions.
