Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse support team, ensuring efficient stock handling and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Perth, ON

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

  • Inspect and verify inbound materials for condition, quantity, and correctness.
  • Accurately pick and process outbound orders as required.
  • Move and pick up materials from other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork related to inventory and shipments.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and replenishment tasks to maintain stock accuracy.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited school.
  • 1-year warehouse experience preferred.
  • Lift truck experience is a plus.
  • RF Scanner picking experience is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
