Founded over 30 years ago, Warrington PCI Management (“WPM”) has grown to become BC’s largest commercial property manager and one of the largest property managers in Canada. WPM manages a diverse portfolio that includes over 17 million square feet of office, retail, industrial, rental residential, and mixed-use properties throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, overseeing more than $12 billion in assets. Jointly owned by PCI Developments, one of BC’s leading developers of mixed-use and transit-oriented developments, WPM plays a critical role in providing WPM’s clients and PCI with a holistic and vertically integrated servicing offering.
With over 200 BC based employees, the company has built up a tremendous reputation for service, delivery excellence and tenant satisfaction for its diverse clients which include private investors, institutional investors, municipal governments, and professional associations. They have more than doubled in size over the past 10 years and with WPM’s reputation and track record, expanded into new business lines. In conjunction with PCI’s development pipeline which includes over 6,000 homes and 3 million sq ft of commercial space, WPM is well positioned for further growth.
WPM is now seeking an experienced and tenant-focused General Manager (GM) to oversee management of Royal Centre, one of the flagship properties in WPM’s portfolio. Situated at 1055 West Georgia Street, the high-profile intersection of West Georgia and Burrard, Royal Centre is one of Vancouver’s most prominent Class A office buildings. It is a mixed-use development consisting of 600k sq ft including a 37-storey class A office tower, standalone RBC bank pavilion, and two levels of retail space. The LEED Gold, Energy Star, BOMA Best Gold and Zero Carbon Building certified asset operates on the leading edge of sustainability and is currently undergoing significant transformation through a major redevelopment program which includes a new office lobby, 9,000 square foot restaurant with a roof top patio, a new lobby café and an outdoor seating area. There are plans for a second and potentially a third phase of redevelopment at the property which will further enhance the property and area.
Reporting to the Vice President, Property Management, the General Manager will provide overall oversight and leadership for this iconic asset. In this key leadership role, the GM will oversee a team of operations, administrative and accounting staff. The GM will be responsible for continuing to ensure best practices in property management and a high level of tenant satisfaction while ensuring the property can deliver on its key strategic and financial objectives.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and service-oriented property management leader with experience managing ‘A’ Class (or better) properties and driving best-in-class tenant experience. Experience managing complex mixed-use assets going through significant renovation or redevelopment and driving sustainability initiatives will be a tremendous asset. WPM is seeking a very strong relationship builder and manager – someone who can engage with a diverse group of stakeholders including the asset manager, WPM colleagues, service providers, tenants and the guests of the property.
