About the Opportunity

• Input Accounts Payable invoices

Process employee expense reports

Review vendor statements and reconcile for missing invoices / credit notes if necessary

Reconcile corporate credit card statements

Process electronic payments and cheques

Review, analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts

Entry, update of journal entries

Ensure appropriate controls are in place to help safeguard company assets

Support for the annual external financial statement audit

Provide support and back-up for month-end reporting

Focus on process improvements

Automation of processes and control

About You

University degree in accounting or business

Working towards CPA Accounting designation, with 2+ years relevant experience

Ability to work both independently and as an integrated member of a team

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Intermediate / Advanced knowledge of Excel

Experience with ERP systems

Exposure to the distribution industry an asset

Salary Range

70,000 - $75,000 / year
