The Role
You will be responsible for :
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to assist our accounting department in various tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
This is a part-time, fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing payments.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by entering data into accounting software.
- Prepare and maintain various financial reports and documents as required.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Handle other administrative tasks related to accounting and finance as assigned.
Ideal Profile
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or related field is a plus.
- Availability to work part-time hours on a flexible schedule.
