Corporate Accountant

A Corporate Accountant is required for the Critical Mass Finance Team. The core expectation of this role is to collaborate closely with the Assistant Controller and Controller to complete tasks related to various corporate accounting functions.

You Will :

• Complete monthly legal entity financial statements and assist in consolidated monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insight and analysis on monthly financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual working papers.
• Identify and implement system optimizations or efficiencies.
• Ensure standards and policies are adhered to and internal controls are in place to support accounting processes and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
• Act as contact for related party matters including monthly reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
• Investigate and recommend solutions for accounting and tax compliance issues.
• Work closely with treasury and accounts payable functions and provide backup when required.
• Assist the Assistant Controller in coordinating annual audit and corporate tax returns.
• Provide written monthly analysis to the Controller and Chief Financial Officer

You Have :

• Accounting designation with 1-3 years post qualification experience (CPA)
• Proven ability to effectively work in a team environment and achieve results
• Strong analytical and business acumen
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data in a meaningful way
• Interpersonal skills Superb verbal and written communicator, demonstrates self-awareness.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, flexible environmentExcellent organizational skillsHighly collaborativeProactivenessExceptional attention to detailProfessionalism / discretion
• Technical skills Proficiency with MS Office suite of products : Excel, Word, OutlookExcellent accounting knowledge coupled with strong technical skills.

Excellent computer skills and background of ERP softwareComfortable with foreign currency transactions
