Job description

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will ensure that the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction are met
  • Perform verifications on fire alarm systems
  • Complete fire alarm system programming
  • Complete work orders and report in a timely fashion
  • On-call for emergency service calls / work
  • Act as liaison between customer & Troy
  • Understand and practice applicable ULC, CSA and Canadian Electrical codes and standards which apply to their area
  • Strong PMA / ITM skills needed

Qualifications

  • CFAA Certification is required
  • Two years of community college in electronics is desired, or equivalent training or work experience will be an asset
  • Previous training / experience in fire alarm systems (2+ years)
  • Proficient in the use of computers
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
  • Exceptional customer service skills and organizational skills

    Responsabilités :

  • Inspecter et vérifier anuellement les systèmes d'alarme incendie
  • Assurer la conformité des systèmes d'alarme incendie conformément à la norme ULC-S536 et ULC-S537
  • Effectuer des rapports incendies des inspections et des modifications du système d'alarme incendie
  • Noter des recommandations ou lacunes à partir d’inspection incendie basé sur les normes ULC
  • Être disponible pour répondre aux appels de service

    • Critère de l’employé recherché :

  • Bon service à la clientèle
  • La capacité de parler et d'écrire en français et en anglais est un atout.
  • Posséder un permis de conduire valide
  • Avoir un bon sens de l'organisation et suivre les règles de santé et de sécurité
  • Avoir une certification CFAA ou être prêt à obtenir la certification CFAA dans l'année suivant la date de début
  • La formation en usine serait un atout considérable
