Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team in North York, Ontario. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities :

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including trial balances and financial statements.
• Reconcile credit card transactions and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support inventory and stock management activities, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
• Utilize Odoo software to streamline accounting and inventory processes.
• Assist with billing and collection activities, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding accounts.
• Collaborate with external auditors and year-end accountants to provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Generate periodic reports to support decision-making and financial analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and inventory management functions.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in using Odoo software for accounting and inventory management.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Experience with billing, invoicing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work 100% in person in North York, Ontario.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
