Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager

Company Overview:
A leading meal kit delivery company is seeking an experienced FSQA Manager to oversee food safety and quality assurance for their products in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team responsible for food safety and quality assurance in the BC facility.
• Implement and maintain food safety policies and procedures, including HACCP.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve food safety and quality issues.
• Continuously improve protocols for achieving the highest level of quality and food safety.
• Prepare for and lead audits from regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, assembly or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP and FSMA.
• Knowledge of sanitation and HACCP implementation.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve food safety and quality issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
