The Sales Representatives work together with the Makita Canada Inc. team to support the company’s business plan. You will assist the sales team to achieve their sales objectives by managing a specific territory and special accounts within the same area.
The sales representatives will work with all departments throughout Makita Canada Inc. to assist in a smooth transition for the customer ensuring they are satisfied to the best of Makita’s ability.

What will you work on?
- Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with current and new customers
- Coordinate activities for customers to ensure they are receiving superior service.
- Assist with overall sales growth for Makita Canada including product and brand conversions.
- Organize product training and demonstration for end users and end user organizations as required.
- Analyze the territory / market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
- Keep and submit accurate records of call activities and weekly itinerary and prepare monthly sales reports on your region.
- Participate in events and shows, prepare and present demo days for retail market.
- Other job-related activities, duties, and projects, as assigned.
To be successful you will have :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field an asset.
- A minimum of two (2) years of related experience in sales.
- Valid Drivers Licence with clean driving record, driver’s abstract required.
