Position Summary :

Ainsworth is currently seeking HVAC Technicians to join our growing team in Surrey / Vancouver, BC. The role involves assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, products, and systems.

Responsibilities :

• Represent Ainsworth professionally, courteously, and with excellent customer service on every call, acting as a proud ambassador for our company.
• Read, interpret, create, and maintain drawings and specifications.
• Install air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components.
• Overhaul and service air conditioning and heating units and systems.
• Repair, replace, and adjust worn or broken parts on condensers, compressors, and water and vacuum pumps.
• Repair and adjust valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating and air conditioning units and systems.
• Install motors, thermostats, and humidistats.
• Instruct customers on proper care and maintenance of equipment.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned apprentices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern equipment and regulations.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
• Perform all duties safely, in compliance with health, safety, environmental policies, and legislation.
• Follow the company's Quality System procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Provide support and backup for administrative duties as needed.
